About the School:
The idea of establishing the school started with establishing a nursery to serve the female students' Sons and daughters in the Adult Education Center on 01/09/1985. At the behest of parents to expand, Al Bateen educational School for Kindergarten was established and gradually evolved to all stages in its Arab and American departments until the previous academic year 2011-2012. In 2012-2013, it was decided that Al Bateen should be confined to the American curriculum only while adhering to the customs and traditions of the UAE society and instilling Islamic values and morals in the hearts of students from their early stages.
The school is accredited by the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) in 2004/2005 and subsequently received a Certificate of Excellence from the Academic Development Committee, which is renewed every five years and was recently renewed in 2015.
The school is known for its outstanding initiatives in the field of environment and sustainability. Many achievements have already been achieved in this area. The most important initiative is the establishment of the Agricultural Green House in the School. The school has received many awards for its participation in various activities such as: Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Excellent Educational Performance, Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence, Student Crescent Award, Environment Award (Creation of Solid Waste), Cultural Passport Award, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan Award For generations, and other awards.
Admission, Registration and Distribution of Students
- The school should prepare the policy for admission of students and send it to the Board for approval in accordance with the requirements of the Guide to the policies and guidelines of private schools, taking into account the school's commitment to the provisions contained in this decision.
- Schools are entitled to enroll and register students at any time during the school year.
Distribution of Students in Classes by Age Group:
Students, including students (with special needs), are usually enrolled in the classroom according to their age group, as per the guidelines of the Private Schools Policy and Guidelines.
Registration in Kindergarten and First Grade:
Kindergarten and First Grade enrollments are conducted according to the age of the student and pursuant to ADEC policies in this regard. Priority in registration and enrollment shall be given to the applicants with siblings registered in the school:
Registration in Grades 1-12:
Students are enrolled in Grades 1-11 after taking an examination to determine the attainment level in English, Mathematics and Arabic. Admission is available if the place is available and if the student gets 50% or a higher percentage in all subjects on the entrance exam.

- Passport copy (with valid residence permit for non-citizens)

- Copy of the vaccination certificate
- Recent personal photo of the student
